The group of Prof. Wegner in Statistical and Condensed Matter Physics of the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Heidelberg invites applications for a Postdoctoral Position (BAT IIa) in Theoretical Physics. The position is expected to be filled in the fall of 2002. The appointment is for a period of two years. The main research topic of this group are strongly correlated electronic systems. It includes among others the investigation of high-temperature superconductors, in particular the Hubbard model, the coupling to phonons and the use of flow-equations for the diagonalization of Hamiltonians.
